SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services - Residential
SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services is a residential program licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health. Serving up to 33 boys, SSYTS is a strong behavior management program focusing on logical and natural consequences while teaching personal responsibility, accountability, problem-solving and decision-making skills. In addition to high quality clinical treatment, each boy in the program receives an individualized education at a State approved on-site school, SteppenStone Academy.
SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services provides 24-hour Residential Room and Board with Clinical Services to male residents that are between the ages of 12 and 18. Potential residents into the program must have clinical documentation or testing that clearly states they are in need of 24-hour residential care for emotional and/or behavioral issues. SteppenStone Youth Treatment Services will not accept potential residents into the program that are actively suicidal, homicidal, or actively psychotic that should require more intense care such as Inpatient Psychiatric Care.
